Amazon Oak4 Fulfillment Center

The Amazon OAK4 Fulfillment Center stands as an extensive build-to-suit distribution center. Spanning a footprint of 1,017,385 square feet, the facility’s innovative design incorporates two mezzanines, effectively doubling the usable square footage. The larger three-story mezzanine spans 760,000 square feet and houses robotic picking modules for the automated fulfillment system, while the smaller single-level mezzanine covers 238,000 square feet and accommodates the conveyor packing deck.

The warehouse’s main floor operates as a fully automated distribution center, utilizing an advanced automated material handling system and an extensive network of conveyors. Notably, the Amazon OAK4 facility includes 17,000 square feet of cold storage. Moreover, a two-story, 87,000-square-foot office buildout provides space for open office areas, individual offices, breakrooms, and training facilities.

Remarkably, this ambitious project was completed on an accelerated 11-month schedule without compromising quality or safety standards.
