Castle Rock Medical Center

Castle Rock Medical Center is a rural healthcare facility that replaced an outdated existing medical center. The building includes a Reception/Lobby area, Conference Rooms, Breakroom, Fitness Center, Lab Area, X-Ray, Support Spaces (IT, Mech/Elec, Storage), Administrative Offices, and vast Clinical Space (three sections, each with large central workstations surrounded by exam and procedure rooms). The updated clinical space created a more unified working environment for patient care staffers, facilitating communication, as well as improved the patient experience. The upgraded facility added modernized features, updated technology, energy efficient heating and cooling, security systems, and fire suppression. Located in a cold climate, unique features included construction of a hydronic snow melt system under exterior sidewalks and highly durable Thermory® steam-treated wood clad exterior.
