Crossroads East

Crossroads East is a new, ground-up construction shopping center that included two multi-tenant retail buildings – a 19,223-sf north building, and a 21,760-sf building to the south. Both buildings were constructed with block masonry walls, wooden roof assemblies that are fully sprinkled, and included installation of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. The project scope also included associated site improvements and new utility stubs. The sitework required revisions to the existing parking lots at both the north and south buildings, minimal landscaping, and provision of a drive-thru for the future Starbucks tenant. Project challenges included construction on a busy, high-traffic site surrounded by numerous existing businesses. Big-D Southwest successfully completed construction of the Crossroads East project with minimal disturbances in just 15 months.
