Dignity Health ER and Urgent Care

Set across 11,129-sf, Dignity Health ER and Urgent Care in Litchfield Park is a fully equipped ground up, single-story, slab-on-grade, metal frame, fully sprinkled, 24-hour outpatient emergency medical care facility. Design features a stucco masonry veneer façade and TPO roof. Big-D Southwest teamed up with E4H Architecture for this 10-month project due to the firm’s acute understanding of healthcare environments and flexible, innovative space creation. The facility offers the same level of care found in a hospital including a CT scanner, digital X-ray and ultrasound. Having a separate ER from the hospital allows Dignity Health to reduce patient wait times and ensure the best care for each patient. Construction also included a retail siteworks package surrounding the facility as much of the land was not developed prior to this endeavor.
