Intermountain Alta View Specialty Center

Intermountain Healthcare is renovating many areas of its community Alta View Hospital campus in Sandy, Utah. Last fall, the hospital expanded and renovated its Emergency Department to provide faster, more efficient service. The most dramatic addition, however, is the new surgical center at the north end of the campus. The Alta View Specialty Center houses state-of-the-art facilities inside an elegant new building.

The front entrance of the 58,671-square-foot building opens onto a light-filled two-story atrium. The building’s structure is steel, and its facade uses glass, brick veneer, and metal panels.
