Westminster College Meldrum Science Center

The Meldrum Science Center at Westminster College is a new, four-story building for the Biology, Chemistry, Geology, and Physics departments of the College of Arts and Sciences. It has 14 integrated lab classrooms and interactive features, five research laboratories, including a food-science lab, faculty offices, and multiple shared and integrated learning environments. The building replaced a much smaller, outdated structure. The new building features a brick and zinc exterior, similar to adjacent buildings on the historic campus. A focal point is the central atrium which not only brings in light, but also enables the various floor levels to open up one to another.
