Sonder House Apartments

Sonder House is a 127-unit, income-restricted multi-family project located near downtown Minneapolis in the Brooklyn Center neighborhood.

The building is a four-story, wood-framed structure over a single-level, below grade heated parking garage. The building podium is made of precast concrete planks atop CMU foundation walls. Sonder House contains a mix of one-, two-, and three-bedrooms in eight different layouts. The style is modern, and the interior finishes have an upscale feel. Construction of resident amenities included a fitness center, community lounge room, clubroom with full kitchen, and a rooftop deck with fire pit. Big-D Construction Midwest completed exterior scope elements that included all associated utilities and sitework and landscaping, a picnic area, lighted dog run, and playground.
